Recycle / Reuse / Convert dress into 2 piece Outfit ❤️

Here's your Ak greeting you all i.e Akanksha..

As i gave my introduction and the things we gonna overcome on, all over on the previous blog.

Here I would like to start with introducing my first D.I.Y technique,that was a common men's shirt converted into a beautiful two piece dress. Although I choosed a shirt from my dad's wardrobe which he won't wear from so long. The color I choosed was Grey hue an acromatic color. The shirt was plain and it had some sort of design at the bottom .

Things we require for this:-

1. Scissors

2. Elastic

3. Trade and needle for hand tuck ( sewing machine is optional )

 Let's start with it:

Top:

So all I did was just measured my upper body by measuring tape(from shoulder to little downwards off bust area until we end up with a particular crop top measurement).than place the measurement on Shirt and cut out the part accordingly. 

Than cut collar part In a circular way.

As we wear the top it would seem to be loose so we gotta do is either fit the side seams of the top or else from the bottom add elastic to it.

I basically did is, fitted the top from side ways.

Also u can pipe out the neckline from were we separated the collar.

Skirt:

Coming up to the second part i.e. skirt we have to measure our waist round and what ever the waist round may be (for example:if our waist is 28 than make it half I.e 14) and accordingly take the elastic or second option is directly roll the elastic around your waist and cut the access elastic. Take the measured elastic and hand tuck it or sew it from the top of the skirt all around .

So Guys here you go with your simple DIY trick from old shirt into sexy two piece got to be ready .

TRICK: I usually wear this same skirt sometimes as a top.

It feels amazing when i think of i have nothing to wear ,definitely I end up with the things that I can wear it as in many different ways.
