STYLING DUPATTA INTO KURTI | DIY 🦋

Hey everyone,
How are you guys doing? Hope everyone would be fine. Here's your AK back with something exciting and interesting. This blog is definitely for all the beautiful girls and ladies for a quick DIY. So, I tried a DIY technique last weekend and it went so amazing and beautiful that I suggest you guys to try this diy at home once. The main things required in this is just a dupatta. Yes, we all do have dupatta's that we usually pair up with our Punjabi suits, or anarkalis or salwar kameez, etc. So taking these dupatta's I tried converting them into Kurti form.
Yes your herd it right!!! A kurti from a dupatta..!!

In this blog, i have tried explaining two ways of Styling Dupatta into kurti. So we need two kind of dupatta's with same fabric (It shouldn't be transparent). I have chosen two different colors of it that is Red and Violet. You guys can take any contrast colors, any designed dupatta or same color dupatta .

Before jumping into deets, I would like you guys to go and follow me on instagram for more updates; also the video is posted regarding this styling blog u can click on the video to get through what I actually did.

Lets get started with our blog!!

📌First style- Halter Neckline Kurti.

a.) We require 2 dupatta's, take one Dupatta, fold it in half and adjust according to your Kurti length.
(Tip - Keep your dupatta a bit uneven from down side to give attractive look)

b.) Then place dupatta on the floor( the uneven smaller part should face the floor side).

c. ) Fold the dupatta from right and left corner into half.

d. ) Next, from top of the folded part turn left & right corners of dupatta into half of the half triangular part.

e. ) Take simple dori or a lace place it horizontally on the triangular part (Note - keep lace little big from sides so that we can tie it up later) and again fold the top fabric until it covers the lace and just pin the points to secure the lace with half triangular parts.

f. ) Do the same procedure with other dupatta as well and just hold both dupatta's one from back and other from front side secure or tie the lace from the shoulder part with one another.

g. ) Pin the side portions accordingly(Max 2-3 safety pin from one side; same as other) until we won't get desired side cut.
And our first Kurti style is ready !!!!

Before going to second style, guys i have more blogs if you haven't checked it out yet click the link below:

📌 Second style - Combined Dupatta Kurti.

a. ) Can use some stiff dupatta's for this. It should not be transparent.

b. ) Just take one-sided dupatta from both sides, adjust the length from front then secure inner border or portion with 2-3 safety pins.

c. ) The external border or portion should be tuck or pinned at the back so that it covers our back area.
This creates a cape look we can also pile it up with a belt.

So, How was it!! I'm damn sure it would be more amazing if you check the actual video of this style linked over here.Styling dupatta into kurti
